The Chronos Coin is a Curio in Specter of Torment and an item in Showdown and Pocket Dungeon.
Specter of Torment[]
Usage[]
Specter Knight flips a coin into the air, where it spins in place. While the coin is in the air, everything except the player is slowed down greatly. After roughly 5 seconds, the coin falls and its effect ends. The coin's effect persists between screen transitions.
When upgraded, the Chronos Coin's time-slowing effect lasts twice as long.
Availability[]
Access to the Chronos Coin can be purchased from Red for 
10 in the Tower of Fate after completing the Lost City. It then has to be collected by completing its dedicated Curio stage. It can also be upgraded by Legion for 
4000.
Showdown[]
In Showdown, the Chronos Coin appears in its base form as a Powerup item, working virtually unchanged from Specter of Torment.
Pocket Dungeon[]
In Pocket Dungeon, the Chronos Coin appears as an Item that can potentially appear in chests or side-rooms during runs of the Pocket Dungeon. Once activated, it temporarily stops time for 10 turns, giving ample time for the player to reposition themselves, as well as damaging foes without taking any damage in return.
Trivia[]
- The Chronos Coin has a cameo in Shovel Knight Dig. It appears among the loot in Shovel Knight's bag and in glass display case in the treasure vault at the end of Drill Knight's Castle.
