Snow Spikes are a platforming challenge in Shovel Knight found primarily in the Stranded Ship. They appear as small clumps of snow suspended over spikes. If the protagonist touches the snow, it drops down to cover the spikes, allowing the protagonist to walk over them. The surface of the screen where you fight Polar Knight is covered in snow-covered spikes. After digging up the snow, Polar Knight will stomp and rain down icicles that re-cover the spikes with snow.
